Good news on the racing front. SCMCC have finalised the dates for the Chappiethon as the weekend 25 - 26 Sep 99 at Akrotiri cart track. This will involve teams flogging a 50cc moped, similar to these two, around the track. Teams will consist of 6 riders and who ever covers the most miles/kms will be deemed the winner. Richard and Julia have started to sort out sponsership for the event and it looks as if BRMCC will be able to fund and enter 2 teams this year giving us a better chance of winning the event. Detail will be discussed at the club on Fri 25 as there will be a small cost to all racers......
